Our take on travel insurance for the Meridian Visa Infinite Cash Back

Pauline Laurore
Expert review · Pauline LauroreAuthor of HelloSafe's card insurance reviews

For a cash-back card the Meridian Visa Infinite Cash Back carries a genuinely strong travel package, led by emergency medical coverage of up to $5,000,000 per trip, plus trip cancellation, trip interruption and delay, delayed and lost baggage, and $1,000,000 in common carrier accident protection. The travel benefits are underwritten by Desjardins Financial Security. The main limits are the age cap (covered trip length shrinks from 48 days at age 59 and under to 15 days at 65 to 75, with no coverage at 76 or over) and the absence of hotel burglary coverage.
