Enhanced Trip Cancellation covers all nonrefundable costs paid to any Travel Supplier (flights, hotels, tours, cruise packages) when a covered loss prevents departure. The $5,000 per-trip cap applies to all Travel Supplier costs combined, with a $10,000 annual account limit and a maximum of 2 claims per 12-month period. The full trip cost must be charged to the card. One-way travel without a return destination is explicitly excluded. Eight covered reasons: illness, injury, or death of the eligible traveler or an immediate family member; inclement weather; military orders; terrorist action or hijacking; jury duty or court subpoena; primary dwelling made uninhabitable; quarantine ordered by a physician; financial insolvency of the Travel Supplier (capped at $100 per claim). Pre-existing conditions within 60 days of trip purchase are excluded.
