No trip cancellation or interruption insurance. This benefit is not included. If your flight is cancelled or you need to cut your trip short due to illness or a covered emergency, all non-refundable costs come out of your own pocket.

Our Verdict · Travel Insurance
Our take on travel insurance for the Truist Enjoy Cash
Minimal travel protection. You get $250,000 in AD&D coverage if you pay your common carrier ticket with the card, but that's the only real benefit here. No trip cancellation, no medical, no emergency evacuation. If you get sick abroad or your trip gets cancelled, this card won't help.
- $250,000 accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) on common carriers when you charge the full fare to the card, plus $125,000 for a covered spouse and coverage for eligible dependent children.
- Automatic coverage with no enrollment — it activates simply by paying the common carrier ticket with the card.
- Included at no extra cost.
- No trip cancellation or interruption — non-refundable flights, hotels, and tours are entirely your own risk.
- No emergency medical coverage abroad — a foreign hospital stay is fully out of pocket.
- No emergency evacuation or repatriation — a medevac can exceed $50,000 with no protection here.
- No baggage delay, lost luggage, trip delay, or missed connection coverage.
- AD&D is not travel insurance: it pays only for accidental death or dismemberment on a common carrier, nothing for illness or ordinary travel mishaps.

What does Truist Enjoy Cash Travel Insurance actually cover?
No emergency medical or hospital expense coverage. This benefit is not included. A single night in a foreign hospital can cost $5,000 or more. Without separate travel medical insurance, you bear that cost entirely.
No emergency evacuation or repatriation insurance. This benefit is not included. Medical evacuation flights can exceed $50,000 and this card offers no protection against that exposure.
No trip interruption reimbursement. This benefit is not included. If you need to return home early due to a covered reason, you'll pay all change fees and unused prepaid costs yourself.
No trip delay coverage. This benefit is not included. Extended flight delays that force you into a hotel or restaurant meal won't be reimbursed by this card.
No missed connection benefit. This benefit is not included. Rebooking fees and additional expenses from a missed connection are entirely your responsibility.
No early return benefit for family emergencies. This benefit is not included. Last-minute one-way airfare home can be expensive, and this card provides no reimbursement.
No baggage delay reimbursement. This benefit is not included. If your luggage is delayed and you need to buy essentials, this card won't cover those expenses.
No lost or damaged baggage insurance. This benefit is not included. If an airline permanently loses your luggage, reimbursement beyond what the airline offers is not available through this card.

What cardholders say about the Truist Enjoy Cash
Marcus T.
Best no-fee card for everyday spending
I use this card exclusively for gas and groceries. The 3% on gas and 2% on groceries is hard to beat for a card with zero annual fee and zero foreign transaction fees. I took it to Europe last year and paid nothing extra on any purchase.

Found out about the CDW gap the hard way
I assumed my Visa Signature card would cover rental car damage. Most do. I was wrong. When I had a minor fender bender in a rental, Truist told me there's no CDW on this card. Cost me $900. Read the benefits guide before you travel with this one.

Roadside Dispatch works, but $69.95 adds up
Called roadside dispatch twice this year. Service was fast and reliable both times. But $69.95 per call is steep. That's $140 in a year. I thought it was included like a membership benefit. It's not. Still a decent cash back card, just don't count on the extras.
How to contact Truist Enjoy Cash assistance?
cbsi Card Benefit Services administers the Travel Accident Insurance claim on your Truist Enjoy Cash card. Roadside Dispatch is a separate 24/7 pay-per-use line.

What people ask about the Truist Enjoy Cash
- Yes, but in a very limited way. The card includes $250,000 in Travel Accident Insurance (accidental death and dismemberment only) when you pay your full common carrier ticket with the card. That's it. There is no trip cancellation, no trip delay, no medical coverage, and no emergency evacuation. The Travel and Emergency Assistance line at 1-800-992-6029 is a referral service. They'll help you find a local doctor or arrange transport logistics, but all costs are yours to pay.
- No. The Truist Enjoy Cash card does not include any collision damage waiver (CDW) or rental car insurance. If you rent a car with this card, you're responsible for any damage or theft. Either purchase the CDW at the rental counter or confirm your personal auto insurance covers rentals before declining it.
- None. The Truist Enjoy Cash card does not offer purchase protection, extended warranty, cell phone protection, price protection, or return protection. It is a straightforward cash back card. If purchase coverage matters to you, you'd need a different card or a separate insurance policy.
- Yes. There are no foreign transaction fees on the Truist Enjoy Cash card. Every international purchase is charged at the standard exchange rate with no added percentage on top. This makes it a reasonable choice for spending abroad, though keep in mind it offers no travel insurance if something goes wrong on your trip.
- The card includes access to Visa's Roadside Dispatch program, a pay-per-use service with no subscription. Call 1-800-847-2869 and you'll be connected to Agero (Cross Country Motor Club). The flat rate is $69.95 per dispatch, covering standard services like towing up to 5 miles, jump-start, tire change, lockout service, and fuel delivery. You're told the fee before they send help. There's no annual fee or pre-enrollment required.
- Yes, absolutely. The Truist Enjoy Cash card offers no medical coverage abroad. The Travel Accident Insurance only covers accidental death and dismemberment. Sickness and illness are explicitly excluded. If you travel internationally, a standalone travel medical insurance policy or a credit card with broader travel benefits is strongly recommended.
- No. The Truist Enjoy Cash card does not include cell phone protection, regardless of whether you pay your monthly bill with it. If your phone is stolen or damaged, you'll need to rely on your carrier's insurance plan, a third-party warranty, or homeowners/renters insurance for coverage.
