Biography

Co-founder of HelloSafe, specialist in travel insurance and the travel coverage built into credit cards. A graduate of Paris-Dauphine University in International Business, Pauline co-founded HelloSafe in 2018 with the conviction that an honest insurance marketplace should read the contracts on behalf of its users. For 8 years she has been reading travel insurance and credit card policy wordings every day, across several markets (France, United States, Canada, Spain), spotting the exclusions hidden in the fine print, and helping travellers choose the right contract for their specific profile. Her specialty is the details no one reads. Cancellation reasons that are actually covered, combined caps versus separate caps, Schengen visa compliance, claim denials, exclusions on outdoor activities, the small print of travel coverage on Visa Premier, Mastercard Gold, Amex Platinum. She knows by heart the contracts of the main players on the market: Chapka, AVA, Allianz Travel, Mondial Assistance, ACS, Heymondo, Mondial Care, and their international equivalents.
